Pemuda Muhammadiyah was established in Yogyakarta on 26 Zulhijjah 1350 Hijrah, coinciding with the date May 2, 1932 Miladiyah.

A Brief History of Youth Muhamadiyah

Beginning of the Muhammadiyah Youth chronologically can be attributed to the presence Siswo Proyo Priyo (SPP), a movement which was initially envisioned KH. For example, at the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership responsibilities nurture, educate and guide the Muhammadiyah Youth handed over to the Youth Assembly, which is an institution that extends the reach and the central leadership aide who leads the youth movement.

Furthermore, with the approval of the Assembly Tanwir, Muhammadiyah Youth Section ortom having made a deal with the authority of the household's own organization. Finally, on 26 Dhu al-Hijjah 1350 H coincides with the May 2, 1932 formally established as ortom Muhammadiyah Youth.

Movement Dynamics

Although officially the new stand on May 2, 1932, the Muhammadiyah Youth can not be separated from the initial growth of Muhammadiyah.
